Daycare was awesome today in that they only had a two-hour delay instead of closing like every other school! Which means I got all of the bench trimmed out! I am adding shoe moulding to the rest of the room. Should I add it within the cubbies too?
I think I will physically regret the bench installation for the next couple of days. I may have overdone it, but at least I can guarantee it won’t break when the kids jump on it! However, 6″ screws would have been plenty long enough…I bought 3/8″x7″. Time for bed. Garage-side bracing added
I think I want the top a little darker, but I still want to be able to see the grain. But looking good!! Fits like a glove! All that dry-fitting paid off!!
